This Privacy Policy explains how Gustroad ("Gustroad", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit our website or buy from us. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and anything else you send us (for example a support email or a return request).

Order information. What you bought, the size and colour you chose, order value, and order history.

Payment information. Payments are processed by PayPal. When you pay, PayPal handles your card or account details — we do not receive or store your full card number. We receive only a payment confirmation and a transaction reference.

Information collected automatically. IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, how you reached us (including advertising campaign parameters in the page URL), and the actions you take on the site.

2. How we use your information

To process, pack, ship and track your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
To reply to your questions and provide customer support.
To send order confirmations and shipping updates. These are transactional and are not marketing.
To send marketing emails about new products and offers — only if you asked for them. You can unsubscribe from every email, or by writing to us.
To measure how our advertising performs and to show relevant ads to people who may want our products.
To detect and prevent fraud, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site (such as the shopping cart) may stop working correctly if you do.

We share personal information only with the organisations that help us run the store:

Payment processors such as PayPal, to take and refund payment.
Shipping carriers and fulfilment partners, to deliver your order — they receive your name, address and phone number.
Advertising and analytics providers listed in section 3, to measure and improve our marketing.
Service providers that host the site and provide email delivery.
Legal authorities, where we are required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of our customers.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
Ask us to delete your personal information, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations.
Opt out of marketing emails at any time.

California residents. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out of advertising cookies using the platform links in section 3, or by emailing us — we will honour the request. We do not discriminate against anyone who exercises these rights.

To make a request, email support@gustroad.com from the address you used to order. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act.

6. How long we keep information

Order and transaction records: kept for as long as needed for tax, accounting and warranty purposes.
Marketing contact details: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Analytics data: retained according to the settings of the tools listed in section 3.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and payment card details never touch our servers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

8. International transfers

We are based in China and sell to customers in the United States. Our service providers may process your information in other countries. Where we transfer personal information across borders we take steps to ensure it remains protected.

9. Children

Our store is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change, and material changes will be announced on this page.
